Study shows being a bald man has its benefits in the intelligence, masculinity & success department
I had no idea but it makes complete sense.

Ever since ancient times, lush hair on a man’s head is considered the epitome of attractiveness and masculinity in our culture. And most men want both.

Balding sucks. It is the sobering reality that a receding hairline is a brazen red flag for the gents. For many men, the thinning of hair represents one of two things: fading youth and attractiveness, but also the fragility of dreams and ambitions. As a result, hair loss can be a touchy subject for most members of the gentleman’s society, not because of the trivial hairline but what it represents for perceived masculinity.

Male pattern baldness typically hits the average man around 25 years old, and really hits its stride about five to seven years later. This stands true for any race and ethnicity. That is why men who have these problems invest money on hair growth products, visits to the dermatologist, or hair transplant.

Being bald is scary and real men don’t get scared.

Baldness is caused by a potent breakdown product of testosterone called dihydrotestosterone or DHT. In the womb, this hormone plays an important role in the development of male genitalia. In susceptible adults, it makes the hair follicles shrink. And usually, men only suffer from baldness because they are the only ones who have prostate glands.

But for Frank Muscarella, a psychologist at Barry University, in nature when males have something that the females don’t it means that characteristic is acting as a signal. In other words, baldness might be the human equivalent of a male peacock’s ornate and brightly colored tail. It might have evolved because it is attractive to women.

However, studies also show that men described with naturally thinning hair were viewed less favorably on a host of traits, whereas men described with a shaved head were viewed favorably.

Shaving your head is a proactive act than sporting those bald patches, that is what they believe leads to the differences.

Lack of hair can only mean the brain is busy with more important functions.

Many studies and experiments concerning androgenetic alopecia have stated that bald men were consistently rated as more intelligent, influential, well-educated, and have high social status.

From a bunch of philosophers to ancient Roman rulers, to famous celebrities and most successful entrepreneurs nowadays, there is surprisingly a unique pattern of baldness.

Take Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson for example. He is an American actor, producer, retired professional wrestler, and a former American football and Canadian football player, who is also busy building his tequila empire through his brand Teremana. This man can decide to venture into anything and he will be successful in it.

But this goes without saying that shaving your head will automatically secure a bright future for you too.

Be bald and be bold.

You must let the feelings of shame pass without internalizing them as a global indictment. It is only when shame becomes overwhelming or excessive does it become crippling. Embrace that shiny head of yours and flaunt it coolly ala Vin Diesel. When you have transcended all levels of insecurity and inferiority of being bald, you will come better, bigger, and more badass. It is not on how you look but on how you present yourself.

So there you have it, going bald could mean men getting ahead, getting the girl, or getting better.
